Mother’s Day because a little tricky when you are a mom and you have a mom and you want to make your mom’s day nice but you also want your day to be stress free and nice as well–so what happens?  Your husband gets double duty!  James worked hard to plan a day for us in which we wouldn’t have to make too many decisions so that we could enjoy it.

He made me breakfast.  He had an edible arrangement delivered for us.  We ventured to the Lilac Festival, though it was a bit on the chilly side (hence the winter hats and jackets), we stopped at Panera for lunch, and then he had dinner all planned as well.  My brother came along for the day as well–and all three of them had never been to the Lilac Festival, so it was fun to stop by and take in the beauty.

I can’t promise that all of the following pictures are flattering and wonderful of everybody, but at least we remembered the camera and snapped a few to help us document the day.
