The Book End Problem

bethany_chase_family_0002

When you have three kids, it’s interesting to see their individual personalities come out as the years go on. My two bookends are a tiny bit over six years apart. They look alike. They both had an intense love for balls at a young age. And they both have no idea how to play. Funny how that works out. Anyone who knows Brayden knows that he’s always preferred to be “entertained”. . . he goes from one activity to another in sometimes less than a minute. He rarely finishes a task before moving on. And independent play time doesn’t even exist in his vocabulary.

Funny how child number three is following in those same exact foot steps. To a T.  Little Chase twinsies born six years apart. That’s what we’ve got in this house.

He follows me around all day, only playing when I play. Unfortunately, I’m not sure that imagination and independent playing is something that can be taught. Suggestions welcome though!
