On July 27th, this is what Brayden’s room looked like.  We hadn’t done anything with it since we moved in.  And then we decided to move Carter up there too in order to have a “play room” in the third bedroom.  And then, the James and Bethany lightbulb popped into our heads and we came up with this grand idea for creating a really nice space for both of them.  It involved demo of some of the room.  It involved construction.  It involved electric work.  And James said, it should take about three weeks if I have lots of time to work on it!

In the past, I have learned that in reality, we should always multiply our first estimate of how long a project will take, by about three.  But we’re beyond that by a great deal, and there’s still a lot to do.  I did want to show some before pictures though, so without further ado . . .
