The Beast of July

This is the beast of July because it’s jam packed with pictures.  All random ones too.  There’s no rhyme or reason, just like with life.  A bunch of hodgy-podgy pictures that resemble exactly how summer is.
We were incredibly thankful that we were able to see five out of six of our parents all within the same three day span.  We missed James’ dad of course, but it was rather amazing to see everyone else, since they are from three different states.
This might be the first one of its kind in a very long time. . . a picture of my dad with my brothers and I.  All together.  At the same place, at the same time.  Usually we visit at random times, rarely together at the same time.  And since I’ve learned the importance of seizing the moment and whipping out my camera whenever appropriate (which is often), I wasn’t going to let the moment pass.  And look how lovely it is!
Thanks, James for your help.  But remember wedding photo etiquette 101. . . always look at your background.  Guess we should’ve waited a couple of seconds for Steven to pass by.
We decided to try our hand at geocaching.  Check it out here if you haven’t got a clue what it is. We weren’t very successful and actually started out on the wrong side of the river to get to the two locations I  wrote down.  I guess we’ll have to give it a shot again sometime soon.
So there you have it.  The Beast.  The big one.  The post with a ton of pictures.  Now it’s time for a snack!
