Now that the month of March is over, I can proudly say that I successfully completely a photo challenge that I set for myself. I have learned that there is beauty in our daily lives everywhere . . . and to document this for myself, so that I could look back in times that I doubted this, I challenged myself to take pictures everyday for the entire month.
I’m sure you could tell that I have been blogging more than I ever have in the past. In March alone, I wrote almost twenty posts, which blows away any of my other months.
The thing is, with all of these pictures, I have to do something with them. I certainly can’t make prints of all of them. So rather than have them sit in a folder somewhere in the belly of my Mac, I thought sharing them with you would be much more desirable.
I am also learning that I truly enjoy writing the entries. It makes my heart smile and my soul sing when I receive comments and emails from people that I have inspired them to also find beauty in everyday living. The simple things. To make sure that the camera is ready on a whim’s notice so that they might steal an otherwise forgotten happy moment and be able to keep it forever. A little slice of heaven that will be forever recorded when the shutter opens.
So that is my success story of the month. I may not have shed many post-pregnancy pounds. I may not have always had the dishes done and the laundry put away. I may not have organized any closets or done any spring cleaning. But I will forever remember that we had thirty-one days of amazing-ness. Thirty-one days of love and joy. Thirty-one days of blessings that can never be taken away from us. And I have the photos to prove it.
