I am convinced that there are hundreds of secret coves in our city.  I’ve learned about quite a few of them  this summer alone, between photo shoots and adventures with family and friends.  The other day, we discovered a new secret place.  A little hidden treasure right off of a busy, high traffic area.  A quiet, serene, gorgeous place.  A little piece of amazing.    

Behold. . . secret place number eighty seven.  Through a little path in the woods.  If you hold your breath, count to ten, click your heels three times and then walk into the path holding the hands of your daddy and best friends, you will be able to enter.  

But shhhh . . . it’s a secret.  And I’m going to add that secret place to my list of favoriteplacesthatbarelyanyoneknowsabout.  My little list of places that I hold dear to my heart.  Secret places that make this city and it’s surrounding towns home to us.  That weave a web of dear things so thickly in my heart that it nearly bursts with joy.  My favorites, ah yes. . . my favorites.  The best things in life.
