2015 is coming to a close, and we’re rolling right on through December without looking behind us. Our house is in the Christmas spirit and we have decorations warming our hearts in our main living space (with a touch in the big boys’ room as well). We love our real tree and I ask myself why on earth we’ve never done it before. Truly, it’s so low maintenance and so pretty, and well, it’s just something to know that your Christmas Tree is real and not an artificial man made thing that has been shoved in a box for a year. I’m sold.

I was gone for four days earlier this week, and I loved walking in the house and seeing it’s beautiful glowy lights and golden decorations. It welcomed me home with open limbs. Our tree. And my boys did too–but with arms instead of limbs. Of course, they are warm and beautiful and welcoming as well. I did miss them dearly. It’s good to be back.
