Rochester, NY Newborn Session

Sessions like this are so meaningful to me.

About five years ago, I held a contest for a free mini session giveaway. Someone named Diana won the contest. . . not married yet. . . no kids. Just a boyfriend. And so we did a “girlfriend/boyfriend” mini session–very much not my “normal” session by any means.

Turns out, these two lovebirds were going to get married. And so they hired me to shoot their wedding a year later. It was beautiful and I loved everything about it. Fast forward a little over a year. Diana contacted me to tell me she’d like to do a session to surprise her husband and tell him that they were expecting! She just told him that she wanted to do a session for their Christmas card. It was so adorable–I smiled through the whole thing. (And you will too, if you look at the images!). They had a son first, and we did newborn pictures and one year pictures. And now, a couple of years later, they have just added a little girl to the family! It has been such a fun journey watching their family grow, and I have been so honored to be their photographer through all of these wonderful moments in their lives.

Such an honor to capture meaningful moments. It’s what makes me so happy as a family photographer.
