I nearly cried the morning I woke up on Jaime and Ryan’s wedding day. It was pouring. Literally. And their ceremony at Greystone Country Club was supposed to be outside, overlooking the 18th hole. With a 70% chance of rain projected for the entire day, I stood defeated. The wind shifted miraculously though, and those rainclouds all but disappeared. By 3 pm, the sun was shiny. Truly, it was brilliant.
Jaime wore her grandmother’s embroidered handkerchief for her something old. I love when there are meaningful elements in weddings. It makes it all the more special.
My favorite part of the day was watching the love ooze out of Ryan. . . I don’t know Jaime and Ryan very well, but I could tell that Ryan wore his feelings on his sleeve. . . and he was completely smitten by his bride.
Congratulations, Jaime and Ryan!
