You know the old saying, Rain, Rain, Go Away. . . Come again another day? I think it’s safe to say that all of us around here are chanting the opposite. Most people around here now have straw for grass and our yards are a sickly yellowy brown. Keeping my new landscaping alive has become a challenge. But on the other hand, our pool has gotten lots of use so far.
I think in the last four weeks, it has rained once. The morning of my birthday. To match my mood. Just kidding 🙂 It poured for about an hour. The boys had a great time splashing in the puddles, and it was nice to be able to play outside without the sun beating down on us.
I know I was supposed to write a second post about being thirty. I posted a pre-post the other day, fully intending to post a post-post (confusing?). But I just haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. Free time is so scarce these days. Maybe before the month is done 🙂
