Playing around with Backgrounds

I tried to do a “fall photo shoot” with Brayden this morning. When he first started crawling, and then walking, I used to think it was nearly impossible to get him to sit still long enough to get a good picture. I never realized that it just keeps getting harder and harder. Now instead of Brayden crawling away because he lost interest, or toddling away because it’s just more fun to walk instead of sit still for a picture, he can actually tell me, “I don’t want to” when I ask him to just stay for a couple more. My pleas have turned into bribes, and so the mention of a cupcake brought a bit of an interest to my defiant little two-year-old. Still, even with the sweet bribe, there were only so many smiles that I was going to get, and I had to be very very silly in order to get them! I think by trying to do the photo shoot alone, I was setting myself up for failure. I ended up only getting four good pictures! Still. . . four is better than none.

So, I took my treasures into photoshop and decided to try out some different backgrounds. I’ve never played around like that before–usually I’m all business when it comes to editing. I can’t decide if they are cute, or just look totally ridiculous. Maybe you can help me out by giving me your opinion! Here are the four shots, and then the three that I changed the backgrounds on . . .
