The Abandon Brewing Company has an amazing view–which was one of the reasons that Emily & Mark chose it for their wedding ceremony and reception. The other being that Mark just really likes beer, as I learned from his Best Man’s speech. So clearly this venue was a great location choice for the two of them. The ceremony took place outside, and looking out over the valley and Lake below. It was so pretty, especially because it was Fall, and everyone knows that lakes and trees and views are prettiest when there are Fall colors all around.

I love that Emily and Mark chose to have a First Look. It took quite a bit of searching to figure out where to have the First Look. We wanted a bit of a private spot, but the sun was blaring it’s high hazy afternoon light and there was no shade in sight. We decided on a row in the vineyard, and I love the images that we were able to get from it! Such happiness on their faces. Some of my favorites from the day. The sun didn’t give up, and so the poor ladies at the ceremony had to stare straight into the bright sun, but they were troopers. After the ceremony, I love the few spots we found to take some more pictures of Emily and Mark. They are so sweet together–all laughs and silliness. I totally loved shooting them because they had no cares in the world when they were together, and they literally did anything I asked them to do, and they did it with smiles and laughs.

It was so great having their nieces and nephews all part of the wedding. The kids just loved being part of their day, and of course the kids are usually my favorite part 🙂 They are always so unpredictably adorable!
