The other day, Brayden and I made this little paper plate turtle. He was thrilled to be able to paint–we don’t normally do painting, since it makes so much of a mess. I was surprised at how little of a mess it actually made though, so it ended up being quite all right 🙂 Brayden was also very excited to pick out the little decorations for the turtle’s back, from our little jar of shiny things (which I’m not even sure where they are from or what they are supposed to be used for). I love how such small things make children so incredibly happy. Makes me wish I had the perspective of a child much more than I do!
