Our Weekend

James, Brayden and I had a lot of fun this weekend. We spent a lot of time with great friends, but also hung out at home for some quality family time as well. AND, most importantly, we had some friends say they’d love to watch Brayden for us so that James and I could go on a date! Yaaay! We went to the Butterfly Garden at Strong Museum for awhile, went out to eat and then walked around the mall for a little bit while we talked. We were going to see a movie, but we got carried away at the museum and ended up missing it. Oops!

We also spent some fun time with Brayden playing with his trains (his favorite toy). Both days, while he napped, James and I wanted to tackle a project, so we painted our bedroom. The color reminds James of peanut butter. Once we hang up some pictures and get new bedding and pillows, I think it’s going to look great.

On Friday I gave Brayden a haircut and he looks like such a little man when I do that–especially when I put gel in it. I can’t believe how big he is. Yesterday, when I went to pick him up after church, I was scanning the room looking for him and when I found him I smiled and said to myself, “that child is so adorable, I can’t even stand it”. I just want to eat him up!!

Here are a few pictures from our delightful weekend:
