Winter is taking it’s sweet time getting here, and I am A-okay with that. Temperatures I think have been averaging about 50! We’ve only seen a couple of very small flurries this December (none that have stuck to the ground yet), and the next two days are supposed to be in the 60’s! Seriously, this is nuts. I’m pretty sure we’re going to break some sort of “average high temperature” and “average low snowfall” for December. I’ve worn flip flops more than half of the days this month, and can go without a coat most days. This is my kind of December! All those snow plow people are throwing parties for themselves with the month of work that they didn’t have to do, and my kale is still growing in the garden. (seriously, it is).

So three cheers from the Chase House for Decembers with no snow and lots of fifty degree days. Winter won’t be so bad this year, since a third of it has passed us by with smiles all around from this lady.
