I read a quote on someone’s facebook wall last week.  October is to a photographer, as april is to an accountant.  And that rings so true in my own photography business as well.  I’ve been home from my conference that I attended earlier in the month, and have been going nonstop.  So much that I haven’t had the chance to enjoy my favorite season.  So we made a very last minute dash to our favorite fall place–Stokoe Farms.  Apparently, it’s everyone’s favorite fall place because boy was it crowded! I think that place gets twice as popular each year.  They used to offer buy one get one free coupons, but well, let’s just say that’s no longer needed.  People flock their all on their own, without a discount.  Though it’s expensive, there’s a million things to do there, which makes it great.

I enjoyed every second of it.  And my parents tagged along too, because they love going on adventures with us.

My favorite part?  Feeding the animals with the kids.  For some reason, that’s what gave me the most joy 🙂

Right now, we’re in Florida for a wedding.  Yay!  When we get back, autumn will be gone, and in it’s place. . . forty degrees.  I’m glad we took the chance to revel in the autumn goodness before we left!
