It’s a fact–most caucasian babies are born with dark blue eyes.  And then they gradually change to the color they will stay at forever.  Brayden was born with them, and then they changed to a grayish, then a greyish-hazel, and then finally stopped changed once they reach a sort of hazelish brown.  If that’s a real color.  Carter was born with them, and to my delight, stayed that way.  He will forever have these gigantic blue eyes, which is amazing to me given my own dominant brown eyes.  But Sawyer?  Well, he was born with eyes as dark as the night!  And they wasted no time at all changing from black to brown–and they are definitely, distinctly brown.  Guess he will be the only one to take after his momma’s eyes.

Just like Brayden, Sawyer is also balding on the top of his head.  Carter kept all of his hair for almost four months and had this wicked cool faux hawk (but then it all fell out as well), but Brayden and Sawyer both lost theirs early.  So, he’s sporting a nice fuzzy top o’ the head, with a dark mullet starting to grow in the back.  I don’t think I’m going to have another blondie like Carter, but we’ll see what happens when that baby hair starts growing in!
