Today we had a long day.  Today, we shot a wedding, put our kids to bed at Gigi and Papa’s and drove 80 miles back home.  Today we had to upload and backup all of the images from the wedding to prepare for tomorrow’s wedding.  Today over 2,300 pictures are staring me in the face in need of weeding through, while they are laughing at me knowing that tomorrow that number will be doubled.

But today was a good day.  And today we loved what we did and we did what we loved. . . and we were very important to a handful of people.  Today we were loved.  Today we made memories last for a lifetime.

And tonight, with all of that stuff behind us, I asked James to take a picture of me with my camera.  At 11 pm.  The one on my website needed to be updated horribly.  And he did it for me.  Without complaining about having to take just a few more pictures after clicking the shutter button a thousand times already today.

And here it is.  Me, Happy as a Lark.  With a passion that God has infused in me.  I totally, totally love it.  Everything about it.  Today was a great day.
