This past weekend, I had a blitz of many, many mini sessions. In those mini sessions, the number of boys that I shot FAR outnumbered the number of girls. And, let’s be honest, boys are a little more challenging on a whole–not all of course. But when you spend the entire day with a bunch of boys, mostly all five and under, and then return home to THREE boys of your own, it just made me laugh a little bit. For sure, boys require a little more physical energy. . . they like to run away, be silly, wiggle and squirm, race around. I’m always exhausted a bit at the end of a session with an active (or two. . . or three) boy. What a hoot we must all look like 🙂
But this little guy? He’s perfect right now. Doesn’t talk back. Doesn’t run away. Sleeps a lot (sometimes). Coos and smiles. I’ll take him like this for awhile longer. He’s my little, little boy. And so much fun, on a nice, calm, relaxing, I don’t have to chase him around level.
