I love my baby boy’s little feet. Dressing them up with adorable socks totally tickles my fancy. Little girls can wear frilly pink dresses and fancy-dancy flowery headband thingies. But can you really beat teeny tiny striped Osh Gosh socks?

I didn’t think so. 🙂

I suppose I will get by somehow.

Our weekend was fabulous. Two nights in a row of ice cream sundaes with some wonderful groups of people. A little hoopla to finish off spring break week. Some down time at home. A little afternoon nap, even for mama.

And amidst those times when I was annoyed and wanted a couple of minutes to myself, and just didn’t want to hear mommy another hundred times in the next five minutes, I was reminded on more than one occasion, of the great number of parents who will never get to spend another day with their child because of some tragic event. I am blessed to be here, each day, with my own little angels. And even if my child wants my attention every waking second, at least he is here with us. So–I took a deep breath, thought of how much I truly loved him, thanking God for another day with him, and always answered with a yes, love? Because that’s what you do when you love your best little guy.
