Rochester, NY Newborn Photographer | Layla

This is the second post this week that has featured the beautiful family of an old high school friend! Donna and I go way back to middle school–we were both athletes and we hung out down by our “girls athletic association” room all the time by the time we were seniors. We shared the same position in the associations leadership team. And she was actually a friend that I hung out with outside of school too. Though we obviously don’t spend time together anymore, I still have fond memories of days shared together. Now that we are adults, I’m so honored that she traveled quite a distance to bring her newest addition to be photographed by me, along with her gorgeous family. The kids were all super into the pictures and each wanted a turn holding their baby sister for a shot.

I had to try super hard to keep the post to under ten images, but I did it! I don’t always use a lot of color in my sessions, but Layla was sleeping so well that I was able to use a variety of different setups that incorporated a lot of color. Here are some favorites from the session.
