Lauren & Marc were married on a beautiful, fall day at the Niagara Falls Country Club. We first met these two at another wedding we shot in Buffalo in June, and James chatted with them about their upcoming wedding. Shortly after, Lauren wrote to talk about photography and we are so glad they decided to book. There were some unique things about their wedding that we loved. First and foremost–the knots. You’ll notice that instead of boutonnieres, the men all wore knots. This was symbolic of Lauren saying yes! to Marc’s proposal–similar to fisherman in the olden days when they used to send knots home to their true loves to see if they would tighten the knot and send it back, symbolizing a definite yes! answer 🙂 During the ceremony, Marc tied a knot, and Lauren tightened it. If you scroll down through the images, there is one where Marc and Lauren’s rings are hanging from the knot that they tied in the ceremony.
Marc’s brother also let us use his restored 1959 truck, which made for some fun images unique to Lauren and Marc’s day. We always love when couples have something that sets their images apart from others that we’ve shot. Thanks, Rory!
