I chose this picture because of two reasons.  Our son, who was less than two months old, was fascinated with fans–and in this picture, he is staring, mesmerized up at the ceiling at the rotating fan.  The look on his face tells that he is filled with a hypnotized sort of wonder.  Second, I think that the look on my husband’s face tells a whole other story in itself.  If a picture can tell a thousand words, in my heart, this picture does.  The way he is looking at our son, filled with love.  And wonder.  And just plain amazed at the miracle and gift of life.  To be able to capture this emotion in one snap of a shutter makes my heart sing with joy.
