Hump Day Nuggets

I sometimes read the blog of a woman who has two young kids like me.  Every Wednesday she has a post called hump day nuggets: little bits of the season in photos and words about the last week.  Good idea, right?  And good ideas are always worth stealing.

So here are my hump day nuggets.

Carter and Brayden are getting along more and more as the days go on.  Carter is always happy to be doing whatever Brayden is doing.  Monkey see, Monkey do.

And on the subject of Carter, “disgusting diaper” has returned.  I’m thinking this is a good thing.  If we’ve completely removed gluten of any kind from his diet, and he is still having the problem, then it must not be the gluten at all.  Let’s hope the doctor confirms this when they call back with test results.  If they ever do.

Brayden has been in the lego phase for about four days now.  This might be the longest toy phase yet.  I’m sure he will be sick of them by tomorrow.  Check out this killer maze we made.  That’s right, you know I’m the coolest mom ever.

And we made a mini one too.  Actually we started with the mini one, but that wasn’t very exciting, so we made the giant one instead.

Today, Brayden has picture day at school.  Luckily, I am a photographer, and take many pictures of Brayden so that there really isn’t a need for me to order the school photographer packages.  I did order a class picture though–I can’t imagine that it will be anything short of hilariously adorable.  Eighteen three year olds all in one picture.  It will be amazing if half of them are even looking at the camera.

And, there will be a blogging hiatus for a couple of days.  Tomorrow I will be returning to the hospital for another heart procedure.  If you missed the explanation of why I had one the first time around, here is the original post I wrote last June.  It wasn’t fixed completely, and the SVT episodes returned.  So they will be repeating the same procedure they did last time.  Blah.  See you in a few days, my friends.
