Hump Day Nuggets

Carter: It’s clear that Carter’s love for Sawyer is not going anywhere soon.  He is still head over heels for the little guy, and it’s endearing to see them together.  Carter is often rewarded with smiles, which means giggles from Carter and more smiles from Sawyer.  And then I can’t do anything but smile too.

Sawyer: He’s rolling over from back to front a full two months before either of his brothers.  Last night he was having a horrible time falling asleep, so we put him in the swing swaddled and hoped that would help.  I went up after a few minutes of him crying to find him face first in the swing and half way down with his legs hanging off.  Guess it’s time to start strapping him in.  We still swaddle him for naps and at night and he’s still in the bassinet.  Good thing we had the crib all set up and ready to go in March.

Brayden: We met with his teacher the other day and learned about a few things that he really needs to work on.  But we were pleased to hear that during his reading test, she was blown away with him.  He’s really improved the first couple months of school, and we’re so excited at how he caught on.  He’s moved up to the top reading group!  We will keep working with him on the good things AND the things that need improvement.  All of you who know Brayden know that he’s a chatty, happy, enthusiastic fellow.  🙂
