Brayden started Pre-K this morning. I think we are really happy with the school we chose. Last year, I spent an hour driving him to school–not an hour each way. . . 15 minutes each way-there and back, there and back. I had to get out and bring him in, which meant also bringing Carter in. In and out of the car seat. Dead of winter. . . pouring rain. . . windy and cold. It was quite miserable. This year, the school is two minutes from our house and I drop him off at the door and pick him up at the door. A mother’s dream. We are also happy that it’s at a church, and it’s an actual school. The teacher seems great, and I love that it’s Bible based. We’re excited for Brayden–he thrives on being social, and I know he’s going to love it. He loves the company of others. And he loves learning, for as much as a four year old boy could.
I did walk him in today, though I didn’t have to. He hugged me and kissed me and gave me his precious little smile. I know it’s only a few times a week, for a few hours each, but I will sure miss him! And I think Carter will too!
