Sometimes Carter messes with our heat.  We have zoned heating, so there is a thermostat in each room.  The one in the family room is within easy reach of him when he is on the couch.  A couple weeks ago I walked downstairs and nearly started sweating the minute I walked in.  At some point, he had slid knob all the way up to ninety.  Today, we went downstairs after being gone for a few hours–and it was apparent that the knob had gotten pushed all the way down to fifty.  So Brayden snuggled up in a heavy blanket while we waited for the heat to kick in.

I have been home from my photography conference for over a week.  There is a two mile long list of ideas and things that I need to implement into my business, but it’s sort of like moving.  I remember the day we moved into our house–I literally was walking around in circles and had no idea where to begin with all the boxes.  They were stacked so high and were everywhere–I couldn’t see beyond the clutter.  And the physical clutter was causing mental clutter, and it took a lot of work to get out of the funk and get to it.  It’s the same with all the stuff I want to get going on from my conference.  There is great potential.  But the steps are so incredibly hard to take.  The mental clutter has returned, and I’m finding it so difficult to carry on with clear thoughts and a plan.  Vision sometimes is muddled by fear.
