Photographs taken by James, who was a helpful host last night. 🙂
See Coffee, Crafts and Conversation from August here. We’re going to try to make it a monthly thing 🙂
It was too warm again for coffee, but some ladies humored me by drinking some anyways. A few friends that came last time couldn’t come this time, but a few friends that couldn’t come before were able to. We missed the rest of you!
My friend Sarah told me last time that I am a gatherer. Someone who likes to bring people together and make them feel loved and at home. I guess it must be true. And James is the same way. We love having people over–we love the company of others. The bonding. The joking. The youcanonlywear elasticpantsbecausebygolly, thisisaPAJAMAcraftnight-ing. We love it when people don’t ask if they can have a drink . . . they just go into the cupboard, grab a glass and pour themselves anything that we have in the refrigerator. Not that I don’t want to serve them–I just want them to feel at home here. And I hope that they can all say that they do 🙂
Leah modeling Sarah’s flower creation. And Heather giving me some love 🙂
Me, explaining my “baby legs” project for my photography subjects.
Carrie thought it was fun to pause her conversation and pose for James. Way to be candid, Carrie 🙂
See you all in October! 🙂
