I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who gave Brayden a Christmas gift(s) this year. He truly had a wonderful time opening everything and is enjoying playing with his new toys. I hope in the years to come, he learns what it means to be very grateful for such generosity and is able to thank people on his own. For now, I guess his enthusiasm shows it 🙂 Here are some of his favorite gifts from those of you who sent him something–so thank you, thank you:
- A fishing pole from Gigi and Papa–also, he thinks his new toddler aero bed is pretty darn cool
- Walkie talkies from Nanna and Grampa
- A playdoh table that we bought with a gift card from Grammy and Poppy . . . also the book that they sent with stories for 365 days is nearly the only book he wants to read before bedtime now! 🙂
- Bath toys from Kaitlyn and John–we’ve had to start bathtime much earlier since he likes to play in there for so long now
- Veggie tales clay kit from Auntie Krista and Uncle Chad. . . works well with Playdoh too 🙂
- Bowling set from Uncle Josh
- Alphabet foam puzzle things from Auntie Sarah and Uncle Danny
- Strong Museum Membership from Auntie Robin and Auntie Karen!
- Some money from Great-Papa for our trip to Splash Lagoon this weekend!
