It makes me so happy when my good friends have me take pictures of their family.  So photographing Katie and her family feel more like fun instead of work.  I have grown to love them so much the past couple of years and miss Katie terribly since her son and my son go to preschool on opposite days of the week, and we can’t do play dates with the boys any more.  

If she lived right around the corner, I bet I’d see her lots of times a week.  She’d be one of those friends.  Oh hey, throw your kids in the car and come over for lunch.  Oh hey. . . meet me at the library in fifteen minutes.  Oh hey, come on over for pizza and movie night.  

But we live 40 minutes away from each other. . . and our new house will make it just about an hour.  And that makes me terribly sad.  

But life is life, and we will make the best of what we have!  Love you, Currins!
