With a full day of rain predicted in the forecast, I woke up on the morning of Bethany and Kevin’s wedding, looked out the window and groaned.  This is how it goes often on the days I have weddings when I wake up and there is a sky full of gray clouds.  I always feel terribly for my brides.  Backup plans are never fun.  We arrived at the Woodcliff to photograph Bethany getting ready, with a sky still full of huge, grey clouds.  But in the hour that we were in the hotel, the winds must have shifted because suddenly there was a blue sky, complete with fluffy white clouds.  The sun decided to brighten the day, and we were happy for that.

By the time the ceremony was over and we returned to the Woodcliff for the reception, the sun was perfect behind the trees of the gorgeous overlook a the hotel.  It really did turn out to be a perfect, perfect wedding day.

One fun thing about Bethany and Kevin’s wedding is that Bethany is a graphic designer.  So she created all of the invitations, programs and fun things for the wedding.  I love that she was consistent with her “B&K” logo that she created for the two of them.  It carried through on their invitations, their programs and their favors.
