These two little sweet peas were completely mesmerized by all the hoopla at their town’s carnival.  They walked through that place, with their little red pettiskirts, craning their little necks up, up, up to see the rides and lights and people.  The music blared, so they danced a little toddler dance every few feet.  They had a corn dog and cotton candy for the first time.  They loved both.

I smiled many times that evening.  Watching their joy made my own heart light up.
