We have an awesome property location.  And that’s definitely one thing that we missed while we were away for three years.  Our street itself is quiet, and we are blessed to be down at the end of a cul-de-sac.  But even better is that there is a church behind our house.  It’s a relatively small church itself, and is usually only busy on Sunday mornings and days where voting is going on.  Other than that, it’s wonderful because the church has a decent sized yard, which backs up to ours.  One day, when we take our backyard fence down, and it connects to the church yard, we will have an incredible space to run around.  Right next to the church is a town park, with a couple of small playgrounds, some swings, a baseball field, a basketball court and tennis courts.  I’m sure that it’s going to be a popular place for us this summer once they put the nets up on the tennis courts.  I hope James and Brayden have play dates on the courts once a week.

Today we tried flying a kite.  We were completely unsuccessful, though we did get the kite off the ground about ten feet a couple of times.  Apparently you need wind to fly kites.  Who knew.
