I have been so blessed by so many of my friendships lately.  There are so many beautiful women in my life–talented, loving, amazing hearts.  I am surrounded by truly wonderful ladies.  We all have incredibly busy lives, but we have been getting together for nine months now, once a month to have our crafts, coffee and conversation night.  Not everyone can come every time.  But they come when they can and it’s fun having a different combination of ladies there each time.  We try to rotate through nights of the week because everyone has some sort of commitment on certain nights, so mixing up the days helps that out so that someone isn’t always missing because of something else–work or small groups or their husband’s soccer night.

We chat, we craft and we laugh.  We nibble on snacks.  And we create.  Some of these ladies make incredible things.  I try to stick with simple projects, because I know that I don’t do so hot being productive and talking at the same time.

It’s a great tradition.  And I think most of them look forward to it each month.
