We are big fans of the kids workshops they run at Home Depot and Lowe’s.  I really like the Lowe’s ones, since they have these adorable badges to take home and iron on to your apron after you’ve completed the project.  In the past, you had to sew them on–so, you can probably guess that they never made it onto Brayden’s apron.  But they got smart and now they’re iron-ons–which is much more practical for busy mommies!

Brayden totally loved the workshop yesterday.  And you certainly can’t beat free.  We let Carter join in on the fun.  I may have gotten a few looks from people as I plopped him directly on the work table.  But the boy is less than three feet tall I think. . . so it was either sit on the floor or sit on the table.

I had a wedding a few hours later–so all my camera gear was packed up.  These photos were taken with my phone.  And I promise that I did absolutely nothing to edit them.  So there is no excuse for you to not take daily pictures of your family doing the small things.  No fancy equipment necessary!
