A little light drizzle didn’t put a damper on the spirits on Alex & Caroline’s amazing wedding day. It came at the right time. . . just before our wedding party pictures at the Art Gallery–and then was gone before we knew it, leaving a chill in the air, but nothing too much to handle! I met with Caroline and her mom a few weeks back at a little bakery in Buffalo. We chatted about how her and Alex had met, and how they were planning a very special Korean ceremony at the reception. It was going to be colorful and full of Korean traditions. I was very much looking forward to seeing it and to be able to photograph something so lovely and meaningful. In addition to that, Caroline’s dad is in a fabulous Buffalo based band, and they would be playing at the reception.
Alex and Caroline both work in New York City, and live right outside of it. So planning the wedding from long distance was a bit of a challenge. But you’d never know–the day was beautiful.
