Abstract Study 1

I haven’t really taken out my camera in awhile and actually put some thought into what I was shooting. Normally I just snap a few shots of Brayden here and there. Since my first wedding is coming up in about a month, I decided that I should start working on practicing all of the settings that it takes to get a picture right rather than just setting things on “autopilot”. The last wedding I shot was last September, and that seems like forever ago! So tonight I worked on using my macro lens (meaning that you can get really close to an object and preserve the detail . . . other lenses require you to be a certain distance from your subject or it doesn’t ever focus). So I walked around my house and thoughtfully took some pictures rather than just running around pointing and shooting. So here is my first abstract study:
