Rewind: New Hampshire-Part II

This series of black and white pictures made me smile for about ten minutes straight.  Everything is humorous and totally amazing about them all at the same time.  I tried to make cupcakes into a circle and decorate them to resemble a soccer ball.  I worked on them probably for an hour.  There was almost no one around though when they were done.  Some of the guys left to watch the Celtics play.  Everyone was sort of spread out.  Poor James was left with only a few people to sing happy birthday to him.  The cupcakes just ended up looking like black and white blobs of goo.  But the best part about the whole thing were the looks on our boys faces as they sat in their daddy’s lap, giggling and mesmerized by the glowing candles.  And James, whose bearded face and fro-like hair (don’t worry, we’ve cut it since then) playing along enthusiastically for the sake of Brayden’s excitement.  I’m sure, of all birthdays, blowing out the candles that say 3-0 are probably the least exciting. . . I DON’T speak from experience though–I haven’t had to blow those candles out yet! 🙂

One of our favorite things to do with the NH Chases is bowling.  I think Brayden just assumes now that when we get together with them, we will bowl.  So, of course we went.  We also can’t resist the homemade pizza at the bowling lane.  I know that sounds strange.  But it is d-lish.  For real.  Plus, I get a kick out of the little bowling balls every time.
