I have a LOT of friends who are teachers.  And another LOT of friends who are married to teachers.  So this is a week of celebrating for all of those people–because summer break starts next week, and I’m sure everyone is ready.  The only sad thing–James’ last paycheck until September comes on Friday.  And that my friends, is a really sad day.

Packing began today for our first trip of the summer.  A wedding in Virginia!  It’s going to be a lot of driving, for a short stay, but everyone from James’ family will be there, and I think the most exciting thing (well, besides the actual wedding), is that one of James’ younger sisters will get to meet three of her nieces and nephews (including Carter) for the first time, because she has missed out on all the other family get togethers.  I’m pretty sure she’s probably stoked 🙂

And the pool?  Well, it’s going to be Brayden’s best friend this summer.  I LOVE that I don’t have to be IN the pool with him anymore.  I can just sit on the side or do some yard work where I can still see him–those puddle jumpers are the best!
