I BELIEVE IN LIFE LONG LOVE.
I BELIEVE IN STRIVING TO LIVE LIFE TO IT'S FULLEST.
I BELIEVE IN FINDING JOY IN THE ORDINARY.
Twins are always a fun subject to photograph. It’s funny because I assume I will be able to use the same tactics to make them smile, since they are exactly the same age–but really, it never works like that. These two little sweet peas had completely different personalities. One was laid back like a sunny […]
Preschool is done. MOPS is done. I have sort of temporarily freaked out now that there is pretty much no routine. I’m not used to not having somewhere to be at a certain time. A regular activity for fourteen of the twenty weekdays in a normal month. In the midst of the transition, like the […]
If I was this family, I would plaster photos ALL over my walls. They are simply gorgeous. I’ve actually known Carrie for awhile, though we weren’t friends until recently. Carrie’s mom used to take very good care of one of my roommates in college. When I became her roommate, she also took very good care […]
This little man was so teeny. He had this adorable little face that I could’ve stared at all day–a petite little face with tiny features. When his family first arrived, I got to meet his proud big brother. He played for a few minutes and then that lucky boy went out for pizza with his […]
We’re coming off three Saturdays in a row of shooting a wedding. We have one Saturday off next week before another one–I turned down a wedding, which I felt terribly about–but it’s Brayden’s birthday so I wanted to make sure I wasn’t working all day. I know that’s not really feasible for a lot of […]
Brayden’s birthday week started already. We had a little party while in Buffalo. Brayden ate it up. His little this is the best day of my life smile plastered on his face–such a charmer. My brother was able to come celebrate with us, and my grandfather too, which was really nice. The only bad thing . […]
A couple weeks ago, I photographed the wedding of Andrea and Jeremy. I met with Andrea twice before their wedding and listened as she told me a little bit about growing up in Africa. It reminded me of my brother, who is also overseas with his three kids and wife–growing their family and serving far away […]
Our big pool isn’t opened up yet, so the little Walmart plastic pool is the best we’ve got right now. We’ve had a few eighty degree days in the past week–trying the best we can to live it up and stay cool. A package of popsicles does some wonders too 🙂
I have become rather fond of hills, as you can see here, here and here just for a few simple examples. I found a perfect little one at Rothfuss Park–a park near my house, which I had never stepped foot into before last month. Of course, when I find something I like, I use it […]
